About

With the increasing amount of disinformation in society and rapid developments in artificial intelligence, how can we discern what is true? How can AI technologies like deepfakes and generative models manipulate and distort reality?

Welcome to a conversation with technical and philosophical perspectives on navigating a world where information can be difficult to differentiate from disinformation. The conversation takes place at the stage "Yttrandefrihetsscenen" at Bokmässan in Gothenburg / Gothenburg Book Fair 2023.

With: Åsa Wikforss, Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at Stockholm University and member of the Swedish Academy and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and Carl Heath, Senior Researcher and focus leader of digital resilience at RISE

Moderated by Sara Larsson, Executive Director at WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award

Event included in the entrance ticket to Bokmässan / Gothenburg Book Fair.
