WIN WIN FOR PEOPLE
AND PLANET
The WIN WIN Award of SEK 1 million was founded in 2000 in Gothenburg, Sweden, as an alliance between politics, business and academia, driven by the belief that global challenges require collaboration and strong role models who inspire action towards a sustainable future.
In 2018, we founded the WIN WIN Youth Award of SEK 100,000 to empower young changemakers aged 13 to 29.
Past laureates include leaders such as Gro Harlem Brundtland, Al Gore and Kofi Annan, as well as organisations such as Bellingcat and IPBES, and even cities such as Seoul, South Korea.

On 17 March, we announced five outstanding leaders and five young changemakers as finalists for the WIN WIN Award and WIN WIN Youth Award 2026.
